How does the spin work?
Set your distance, pick your cuisine preferences, and tap Spin. FindUrDinner pulls up three local restaurants that match your filters. Keep the ones that interest you, dismiss the rest, and spin again for more options. When you're ready to commit, tap Choose For Me and we'll randomly pick one of the three on screen.
Why isn't my area covered?
We're actively expanding our restaurant database. If you don't see results in your area, use the
coverage map to request your city — we'll prioritize importing restaurants there and notify you by email when it's live.
The restaurant information is wrong. How do I report it?
Inside the app, tap any restaurant name to open its details page, then tap Report an issue at the bottom. You can flag wrong hours, incorrect cuisine, a closed restaurant, or other problems. Our team reviews all reports and updates listings promptly.
I own a restaurant. How do I claim my listing?
Visit
owners.findurdinner.com to create a free owner account and claim your restaurant. Once verified, you can update your cuisine tags and dietary options for free. Upgrade to Subscriber ($9/mo) to manage your hours and upload your menu, or Premier ($29/mo) for priority placement in spin results.
How do I cancel my owner subscription?
Log in to your owner account at
owners.findurdinner.com, go to your dashboard, and click
Manage billing. You can cancel or change your plan at any time. Your benefits remain active until the end of the billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Send us a message using the contact form below with your email address and we'll delete your account and associated data within 7 days.
The app isn't working. What should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. Still having trouble? Use the contact form below and describe what's happening — include your device type and OS version if you can.
How do I see more details about a restaurant?
Tap the restaurant name on any card to open its full details page. You'll see the address, hours (if set by the owner), menu, dietary options, drinks, amenities like outdoor seating and live music, your personal notes, and reviews.
How do I mark a restaurant as visited or hide it from spins?
Open the restaurant's details page. Tap "Been here" to mark it as visited and optionally add a private note. Tap "Never show this place" to hide it from all future spins. You can also filter to only show (or hide) visited places in the Preferences screen under Results.
How does group voting work?
After spinning, tap "Send to group to vote." This creates a vote with your 3 current options and opens your SMS app with a link. Friends tap the link and vote — no app required. The majority wins after 10 minutes, or you can close the vote early by tapping "Close vote now." The button shows how many votes have been cast in real time.
How do I earn a gift card through referrals?
On any restaurant's details page, tap "Refer this restaurant." Show the QR code or 6-character code to the restaurant's owner or manager — they enter it in their FindUrDinner owner dashboard. If they subscribe and stay active for 2 months, you'll earn a $20 gift card to spend at that restaurant.
What are occasion presets?
Occasion presets are one-tap shortcuts in the Preferences screen that set multiple filters at once — like "Date night" (sets romantic atmosphere and cocktails) or "Family outing" (sets family-friendly filters). Tap a preset to apply it, tap again to clear.
